Handmade, quality construction
All Attane Tableware’s stainless steel flatware and tableware products are hand-forged by skilled craftspeople. After initial ironwork is completed, each piece is hand finished to a highly polished sheen or matt black finish.  Both finishes highlight the hammered or slightly dimpled surface that is part of the beautiful handmade quality of our products.

From the dimpling on a highly polished bowl to the twist on the end of a knife handle, each piece within the Attane Tableware range will differ ever so slightly from the next.  These slight irregularities are not imperfections, but rather a feature of the process and of the individual hand crafting.

All our tableware is made from high quality 18/8 stainless steel. Our products are contemporary as well as functional and importantly for modern living, they are also dishwasher safe.

What is 18/8 Stainless Steel?

Attane Tableware cutlery, bowls, platters and table accessories are handmade from 18/8 quality stainless steel. 

18/8 stainless steel has composed of 18% chromium and 8% nickel with the remainder being mainly iron.  The 18% chromium provides durability and corrosion resistance. The 8% nickel gives additional rust resistance and also a silvery sheen.
